Desert Discovery is a 2,500 square foot exhibition for children ages 5 and younger that incorporates themes about the desert as well as activities and parent-geared label copy focusing on the early years of human development. The core project team included the Museum's Executive Director, Director of Exhibitions, Director of Education and Director of Public Relations. Desert Discovery was the recipient of the 2000 AYM Promising Practices award.
